This second-floor guest bathroom did not receive much use, so the homeowner opted for cosmetic changes with the greatest impact.  Those changes include replacing the builder's basic mirror with a small framed mirror, adding decorative wall sconces, replacing the dated countertop and faucet, and adding a custom-made shower curtain.  The busy wallpaper was also replaced with a neutral wallpaper with a more calming effect.
