The original master bathroom was very small and outdated, with one sink, and a
tiny, dark shower.
The main wall was moved back to
double the size of the room, which then allowed room for a
custom-made double vanity with plenty of storage. The clients
did not want a bathtub, but instead, opted for a large
glass-enclosed shower with a half wall to provide some privacy.
Decorative details include an elegant crystal
chandelier, wall sconces mounted on custom mirrors, crema marfil
marble countertops, and glass cabinet hardware.
The
walls were treated with a hand-troweled plaster-type finish called
Lusterstone, which adds a beautiful sheen to the walls. The
wainscoting is accented with a four rows of clear glass mosaic tile.
