Kristi Linauer (pronounced lin-our) developed a love for interior decorating and interior design at a very early age.  As a young girl, her love for all things artistic was fostered by her mother, who was an accomplished artist and a well-respected photographer.  As a teenager, Kristi began to realize that she had a talent for decorating that was appreciated by others when friends, neighbors, and even friends' mothers began to seek her decorating advice.  As she helped others with their interiors, Kristi began a life-long passion for creating beautiful rooms.

After graduating from Dallas Baptist University in 1995, Kristi took the opportunity to travel to several several countries in Africa, Asia and Europe, and even lived overseas for year-and-a-half.  Her travels gave Kristi a deeper love and appreciation for historical and international architecture and decor.

Kristi returned to Waco in 2005 with her husband, Matthew, and established Kristi Linauer Interiors in the fall of 2005.

In addition to working with her clients, Kristi is also the author/editor of the interior decorating/interior design website Addicted 2 Decorating, which has an international readership of about 25,000 people per month.
